The interior ministry of ukraine is the middle of the trouble. In a report to the attorney general, it wrote that there is »suspicion that a large number of workers employed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved in organized crime ». The internal affairs officer says that more than a million are suspected of such activity, and, »A few of them have been arrested. » Things don’t look good for the Interior Ministry. I doubt if the image of the ministry was in any way tarnished they would want to sabotage a vote for re-election. And I am not certain that this will help. It may go the way of the recent failures. I am pretty sure that those two items would not work.
Is it possible to bring the assistance of the Ukraine barbershop back? How hard can it be to restore a support that is crucial to the people of Ukraine? If nothing else, it is going to choose the mood of the government and the country to get back on track.
Be sure that you know how things work in the Ukranian barbering business if you’re thinking about a barbershop. A few years ago, before there was corruption, many barbers worked out the area, working with the population, and drawing on their services from the barbershops, often down the street. That was before the introduction of the ethnic invasion.
If you’ve read the book »Restless » by Christopher Caldwell, you may know about different barbers who would come into the region, searching for different jobs. That is part of what brought these barbers – when they worked there, they could get better prices, and better support. Now there are too many of them to do that.
Not long ago, local people reported that several of the new bars had put up signs that said »Russian barbers », because they wanted to grab the interest of the natives, and keep them coming back for more. This has upset the locals, who believe it a bit unpatriotic to discriminate against their own kind.
Many Ukrainians are looking to the United States to learn about barbers. They ought to be careful not to begin seeing the barbershop as a symbol of eastern culture, because that is not the case. Because that does not serve anyone, but there is no use in attempting to turn the clock back.
Be certain that you make time to have a look at the barbershop. One of the first things that you will see is the difference in the air. You will probably even see the difference in the overall look of the barbers themselves. There will be an air of change, and the barbershop will be there to welcome it.
There’ll be conflict over who’s currently cutting the other way and hair around. There will be rudeness, too. It is better for the people of Ukraine that things go back to normal.
I must confess that I did not like the notion of going to a Ukrainian barbershop myself. My very best friend and I traveled to a place and we were both pleased. I cannot say that I am the same way. I will admit that I would like to visit Ukraine one day and meet some of the
guys who used to cut my own hair.
Please consider this. Please consider dreams and all the hopes that the Ukraine barbershop will be back on track.
